Many ask: why the name “dojodojo”?
According to wikipedia, a “dojo” is a japanese word for “…a hall or place for immersive learning or meditation”.
Since dojodojo is a space for immersive learning and for being quiet, and because the floor is covered with traditional japanese rice mats (tatami mats), we thought this fits.

Badenerstrasse 409 is in temporary use, initiated by urban equipe, and home to many lovely individuals, collectives, organizations. It is part of a building complex that is a children’s home; in connection with this, our events can’t be fully public. In particular, it is important that people do not enter the inner courtyard of the building complex, or make photographs of the courtyard. Thanks!
